This picture has been transferred from my old computer to this one. He always liked this little picture. Looks almost like an angel engulfed in rays of light.

one thing i love about being a part of your family for so long is thinking back to when i first met everyone and how everyone has just grown and changed over the years.. jason.. my age.. i always felt a strong connection too because while i was 12 he was 12.. while i turned the big 21.. he turned the big 21. kind of felt like my long lost twin or something. i watched him grow from this young boy who matt used to beat up on.. to a big tall handsome man. i really thought me and jas would continue growing up right along side eachother...

Disney World 2008. Mom had to work insane amounts of hours to afford to go on vacation and as a result, was sleeping anywhere she could at Disney. We all thought this was pretty hilarious, especially Jason. Every time she fell asleep, he would squirt her with that water sprayer and she would get PISSED!

I wrote and recorded this song for Jason the day he was killed in a car accident. It was played at the Celebration of his life. It’s called "The Simple Things". Hopefully it reminds you of him.

Mike Posluszny - The Simple Things

The Simple Things
Composed, played and sung by Michael Posluszny

He enjoyed the simple things, but he still knew how to dream.
And unfortunatly for me he has gone and fallen asleep.

He would alwwys do his part, to help where he can;
And for all the times he helped, he never asked to fill his hand.

Cause he enjoyed the simple things. He was Isaac's water wings.
He loved him like his own and loved to teach him things.

When we finally spread the news, about what we had to lose,
I saw a double rainbow and had a feeling it was you.

He enjoyed the simple things, like novel cell phone rings.
And cheesy fries and a heart so big, it couldn't hide.

We grew so close lately. I thibk he looked up to me.
But he was an inch taller he pointed out proudly.

He enjoyed the simple things, like showing that he cared.
With a cookie and a shove, it was brotherly love.

And fortunately for me, I was able to be there,
On occasion that he nedded help, to show him that I cared.

He enjoyed the simple things, and didn't mind for us to see.
Like the wallet that he bought, the one they brought to me.

Now I'm left with memories. I'll never let them fade.
I'll never forget him, and all the happiness he made.

He had a thousand friends, and had them through the end.
He had a lot of love. They're lucky up above.

Mike: "when we finally spread the news, about what we had to lose. I saw a
double rainbow and had a feeling it was you.".

We were driving around Orlando trying to find our sister so we could
tell her what had happened. The Iphone gps had kinda let me down.
We were in the right town but the wrong place. So we are calling the mini
golf place she was supposed to be at to get directions. Their
directions were not good. They told us it was by a Cici’s and Dunkin
Donughts. We found a mini golf course that was next to a Cici’s and
Dunkin Donughts but, it was the wrong one. It was now raining and we were
concerned that they would stop golfing and leave. We called back to
get directions and this time were able to find the right place. When
we pulled up, she was outside. We had to tell her what had happened and she
reacted as expected. I looked over my shoulder and
saw the brightest pair of rainbows I have ever seen, one over the
other. There was one other incident where someone began to get upset
over the loss and again in the sky appeared a rainbow. I think that Jason is watching
out for us. That he is looking down on us smiling.

Last night, Matt called me and reminded me of something that I had forgotten. On
xbox, he had 2 different characters, one of them he named Rainbow Smiles. What is
a rainbow smile? It happens when you are sad or crying and someone makes you
smile through the tears. Thanks Jas.

absolutely amazing......without a doubt the most beautiful and heartfelt honor to a brother who was loved more than anything.

OMG Mike you just sent chills throughout my entire body!!! I had no clue! I have seen more rainbows the past 2 1/2 weeks than I have in the past 2 years. Something definitely weird about that.

Yea. I knew he had that name on his box but forgot about it. Matt called me and reminded me and pointed out the relavance. It’s kinda crazy. I felt the same way and then I looked up what a rainbow smile was.

i am not a hundred percent sure on anything to believe in.. but some of my personal beliefs include astral planes and dimensions. so in believing in that.. i believe too that its entirely possible jason is still heavily on the lower set of planes and is trying to move up as well as make sure we are all okay for him to move up as well

I have a few things I would like to share of memories I’ve had with Jason...nothing major but his mom said they brought a smile to her face and they bring a smile to mine as well.

If you don’t already know, I work at Hungry Howies which is in the same plaza as the Winn Dixie that Jason used to work at. Well, on Jason’s lunch break he would always come over and get a large pepperoni pizza with butter cheese crust and parmesan all over the pizza. Literally, everyday he ordered, he never got sick of our pizza.

Well when he came in, he would always joke around with me and Jenny. For instance, he would come in and walk up to the counter and say shut up Heather and Jenny, and we never even said anything to him he would just tell us to shut up to be funny, then he would start laughing.

Then we would go to the counter to ring him up for his pizza and he would always pull the money away from us when we tried to take it from him, he was such a jokester. I don’t think there was ever a time that I saw him not smiling.

I also remember the day after he got his iPhone, he came in and was bragging to me how his iPhone was better than my Moto Q that I had at the time. He was showing it off to me and comparing it to mine. He was so proud of that phone.

Last but not least, I remember the last time I saw him. Jenny and I were at Winn Dixie and he was there buying a few things I guess, and we saw him standing over by the fruits and stuff and was on the phone, so we didn’t want to bother him. Well he saw us, so we waved at him and he flicked us off and when our jaws dropped, he just smiled then waved at us. If I knew that would be the last time I saw him I would have went and talked to him.

Well I hope I made some people smile as they picture Jason doing all of these things because it is sooo Jason...I’ll never forget him, he was a great kid. He will be missed. I’ll see you again one day Jason...until then, RIP!
