This is the original memorial. We used the wreaths from his Rainbow Springs service.
Matt, Mike and Vince made the cross.

The county then made us move the memorial site up on the hill. All the original wreath's were redone by Matt and Dalyce. This is the new site. Same spot as the crash, just up the hill. Matt, Mike, Chris and Dalyce did the moving. I planted the new flowers in front.

Thanksgiving Day we decorated the memorial for the holidays. Ashley and I brought the pumpkin and Thanksgiving bow. Matt and Dalyce brought the Santa Hat and the decorations for the Memorial sign the state finally put up. The brown bear in the middle heart was brought to Jas by Ashley. The right bear in the right heart is from Heather (our little Heatherbear). The peace Lily and all the cute little decorations in front of it was planted by Heather again. The notes would be Heather's doing too. Thank you sweetie.
The Winn Dixie basket was donated anonymously.

Ash and I decorated up our little Charlie Brown Christmas tree we have had for years for Jas, and brought it to the memorial today. Just gonna leave it there for a few days.

Someone trashed the memorial. Broke the cross. Tore all the flowers off the wreaths. I'm sure it was just kids messing around but how in the world could anyone do something like that! I had to completely remake everything. Took hours and hours. Luckily I had help from Ash, and Mike stopped to lend a hand.
Some month, 2012
The county took down Jasons memorial because they were doing road work. To their credit the marked the spot via gps so it would not be lost. I went there one day and it was just gone. I freaked out a bit but then I tracked all his precious things down and made a new memorial in front of the tree that was behind the barrior. I had to make a new cross. As a sidenote, they never did do any work on that side of the road. Jerks.
