I will always remember the first time I met this cute little baby as a child in NJ. Your mom & dad’s house was my FAVORITE place to go & I can remember sitting on the couch just staring and watching you while I played with the kittens, b/c you were JUST THAT DARN CUTE! And as you grew, you grew into a young boy who was SO incredibly sweet, charming, funny, adorable & warm-hearted! I remember chasing you around your mom’s video store (with your adorable little bowl cut) while eating icycle pops!!! I always couldn’t stand those things (usually b/c you always got the red ones & I got those nasty orange) but your laugh...no, your giggle...gosh, that smile & giggle just made me want them b/c you liked them! Even as a child, you had that charasmatic drawl...that "it" factor that drew people to you, to be near your optimistic carefree energy. And of course, you being "the baby" at the time, Trish & I just HAD to include you in massive amounts of teasing we did with Matt about the TMNT calling the house & asking to talk to you! :) The pricelessly shocked look on your face & Matt’s have been etched into my memory all these years! And so astoundingly amazing is it that this young boy would grow into a man & STILL have these same personality traits! How incredibly RARE in the world to find someone so inviting, whether you stranger, family, friend or loved one. You have the biggest heart of anyone I know that produced enough love to potentially bring world peace!!! :) Jeez, your smile said "love," your giggle "happiness," your eyes "compassion," your warmth said "friendship," your arms "strength and comfort." You have made me aspire to be the better person everyone is potentially capable of...you have made me want to be the very best I can be...and to not take anyone, anything, nor any opportunity for granted. I will live my life memorializing you, in hopes that I will ever be just a small fraction of the EXPONENTIALLY WONDEROUS person you are! I love you so VERY VERY much Jas, & I will always here that sweet little giggle of yours and that sweet smile that usually accompanied it, its sound will resonate every moment I think of you. One of my most favorite quotes reminds me of no one/nothing better than you: "Some people come into our lives, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never the same," and you Jas, you have touched me and changed me so profoundly that I can only hope adequately honor your legacy. You have inspired me to be a better person, friend, daughter, sister, cousin and neice....I only pray I do that legacy justice.....Wherever you are Jas, you will always be in my heart. And tell Grandma Dottie & Grandpa not to forget the pancakes & rolls with butter! :) I miss you little buddy...and love you madly! I will see you one day...and have to bump you from your seat at Grandma Dottie’s kitchen! :)
