Hi,

My name is Janet Severance and had known Jason since the sixth grade. He was always so sweet to me and we had so many classes together. I remember he loved Dane Cook. Every time I would sit near him in my photography class he would give me one head phone while he had the other and it always cheered me up. I just found out about Jason this morning and I wanted to say how extremely sorry I am. The thing being that Jason touched so many lives that a part of him will live on forever. He was an amazing friend and an even more amazing person. I was lucky to have known him.

Citrus County may never be the same. Many people knew him, and many people loved him. It was always next to impossible not to have a good time with Jason. He knew how to make people laugh and make them feel better about themselves; he always went out of his way to do so. I send my deepest condolences to all the friends and family.

Jason... My heart breaks knowing that I'll never get to see you again. I'm mad at myself for all the missed opportunities I had to see you over the past few years. I know you grew up to be a great young man and am frustrated that you were taken far too soon. I'm sad for your Mom, Dad, sisters, and brothers knowing the long road of healing they have ahead of them. Please look after them, after all of us w/ Grandpa and Grandma Dottie. Give them all my love... I'll see you all again one day.
